I consider myself a humanist, pursuer of reason, rational thought and logical deductions based on publicly verifiable evidence grounded in credulity. I do not feel the compulsion nor the need to believe in a soul, any god(s), satan, pure good or absolute evil nor in the existence of any supernatural phenomena or deity. I am fulfilled living within our current understanding of the vast expanding and the amazing universe as provided to humanity through science, logic and common sense.
I love life and try to live every day at the time. I also have a deeply rooted sense in the ability of the human species to overcome and one day rise above our minor squabbles and differences, such as those imparted on humanity by religion and nationalism and in doing so, to ensure the continuation of our species.
