GotFrag’s Official CS World Rankings

Gotfrag’s official world rankings have once again been updated shortly after the conclusion of the highly competitive WEG Master Tournament. It may come as little surprise that SK have been knocked out of the top 5 due to what appears to be some inconsistency. The were knocked back to sixth spot from first, where the Chinese team wNv takes over after yet another strong performance in WEG. Interestingly enough all the Asian countries seem to be picking up on the CS craze as they make their way up towards the top of the scene, which was certainly not seen a year ago.
Hacker Project (Project.kr) the impressive Korean team is the newcomers into the top 10, managing a well deserved fourth place just ahead of Catch Gamer and behind the number one ranked Swede team in Fnatic. With much of the important tournament’s quickly approaching such as ESWC, WCG and CPL, it will be interesting to see whether these placing’s hold true.
